This award-winning rail company is currently looking to hire on a FTC basis until May 2025, but potentially to go permanent, an experienced hands-on recruiter to oversee and provide the recruitment tools and processes required to enable an effective and first-class recruitment experience.
Your responsibilities will include working with Senior Managers, Directors, and HR Business Partners to support the strategy for workforce planning to ensure both operational needs are met and budgeted headcount is within target establishment. You will take ownership and play an active role in the ongoing management of headcount and vacancies within the Operations business area, working closely with the centre of excellence, ops, and finance to ensure affordability with the support of the HR Business Partners.
To support the delivery of a diverse workforce through the development and implementation of an effective and comprehensive resourcing plan in line with the business priorities, you will develop and deliver a progressive resourcing strategy. You will advise recruiting managers on employment matters during the recruitment and selection cycle, with particular reference to Equality and Inclusion.
You will have experience of working in a recruitment role, ideally familiar with both blue and white-collar hiring needs, managing all aspects of the recruitment process from vacancies through to onboarding. Experience of managing suppliers as well as running executive search is also desired.
