We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel
Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The
ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to
excellence in guest service, and a strong ability to drive team performance.
As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible
for ensuring a high level of satisfaction for both guests and employees while
meeting financial and operational goals.
You will be reporting to the Regional General
Manager.
The Roseate Villa Bath occupies a quiet corner of the city, moments’ walk from the heart of the iconic Bath, a city favoured for its heritage and cultural tourism. It is located a few minutes away from attractions like the Roman Baths, Regency Crescent, Bath Abbey, Thermae Bath Spa and the Jane Austen Centre.
The Hotel encompasses two converted Victorian houses which have had a characterful legacy. It exudes a feeling of serenity in and around its grounds and offers wholehearted assistance to its guests who either seek informative excursions around the city or are simply in the mood for a nonchalant weekend getaway in the most beautiful city of Bath.
A warm welcome with tea and cakes, immaculate hospitality, humble service, attention to detail and a genuine connection with every guest makes a guest’s experience a very memorable one.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a positive work
environment and providing training and development opportunities to enhance
staff skills and performance.
* Lead by example, setting high standards for customer service,
professionalism, and teamwork.
* Oversee all daily operations of the hotel, including front desk,
housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
* Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-effective
strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality or guest
satisfaction.
* Review guest feedback and implement changes to enhance the overall
guest experience.
* Develop and execute innovative strategies to improve guest
services and amenities, ensuring a memorable stay for every guest.
* Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports,
analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Maximize revenue opportunities through effective pricing
strategies, inventory management, and upselling initiatives.
* Monitor financial performance against budget and implement
corrective actions as needed to achieve financial goals.
* Develop and execute plans to grow the business, build community
relationships, and stay competitive by staying informed on industry trends and
market conditions.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel
management, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
* Strong financial acumen, with experience in
budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and
organizational skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including
evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to
remain calm under pressure.
* Proficiency in property management software
and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management,
Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
