This is high end gastro restaurant and bar, requiring a strong, mature leader to take the reins. Job Responsibilities: Food Safety: Ensure full compliance to maintain our 5-star food hygiene rating. Collaborate with leadership and local EHO for monthly reviews. Team Training: Train and empower your kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality food in line with company specs. Leadership: Lead from the front, fostering a strong partnership with your Sous Chef to build a positive, engaged kitchen team. Kitchen Management: Oversee all kitchen operations, including stock control, stock takes, and stock analysis. Staffing: Manage staffing levels and create rotas to maximize kitchen efficiency. Team Development: Inspire and develop the next generation of chefs, providing regular feedback and conducting one-on-ones. Menu Development: Engage in continuous improvement, presenting your and your team's ideas at quarterly cook-offs.
