Tyn Dwr Hall specialises in being an exclusive wedding venue and has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, hardworking Sous Chef to join our team. This is a hands-on role, where creating amazing plated dishes for exclusive intimate weddings (up to 120 guests) is the name of the game.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Supporting the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen
2. Ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food
3. Managing the kitchen staff and ensuring their working to the best of their ability
4. Fully in control of kitchen operation in Head Chef’s absence
5. To constantly check quality and quantity of food going out of the kitchen
6. Helping the Head Chef to develop the menu and adhering to high standards of preparation, delivery and presentation of food
7. Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
8. Maintaining food hygiene standards & working in line with Health and Safety legislation at all times
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. Experience essential in a high-end kitchen environment
2. Excellent cooking skills and product knowledge
3. Work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
4. Ability to delegate when necessary
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Ability to learn and adapt to new and different ways of working
7. Friendly and approachable
8. Be driven with a positive attitude to work
9. Have a strong passion about food
