Job Description The role of the Group Learning and Development Manager is to work within our L&D team, providing proactive and professional direction and support to our operational teams. This role will utilise learning and development methods to deliver key learning solutions across Culina Group, applying best practice HR solutions and aligning L&D services to the business needs. You will be responsible to lead a team of three L&D professionals and have responsibility for establishing key relationships with our senior stakeholders and driving KPIs. We are looking for an individual who will travel across the UK to both build relationships with the operational teams and at times deliver key training. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week. This is a 9-month fixed term contract to cover maternity. Key Duties of aLearning and Development Manager: Lead, manage and develop ateam of L&D Professionalsto ensure they are well supported in their wellbeing and personal development including regular 121s Accountability for the delivery of the L&D strategy across the Group and support the harmonisation and integration of corporate level initiatives into business units, managing L&D performance through PDP results and broader strategic KPIs Responsible for ensuring the L&D prospectus is fit for purpose and is regularly reviewed to align with the business needs. Developing products further to make them more interactive, engaging and cost-effective Development of core organisational TNA and skills matrices, critical skills gap analysis and responsive planning to address critical pipelines Management of the Investors in People process Overseeing training calendars for the L&D team The induction of all new L&D colleagues Work closely with key stakeholders to design career development paths Improve Employee Engagement Designing a Training Strategy with the support of the HR team Qualifications CIPD Level 5 L&D preferred or highly experienced within an L&D leadership role or an operational leadership role Preferably has experience of leading L&D within a manufacturing or logistics environment Previous experience managing and support a team Design of leadership programmes Experience of delivering management, leadership and personal development programmes Track record of achieving targets and KPIs Experience of LMS/system rollout Knowledge of logistics and warehousing is desirable Experienced in reporting to senior management/board colleagues Designing multi-faceted learning programmes e.g. webinars, face to face, e-learning etc Additional Information As part of our drive to make Culina Group a great place to work.
