Sales Executive
Our client is an investment firm backed plant-based beverage company, that has a been a leading product provider for over 120 years. Partnering with household names such as M&S and Lidl, their products contribute to a group turnover of circa £70 million. They recently won gold 3 times at the plant-based excellence awards and have an extended commitment to sustainable production.
As a Sales Executive, you'll ensure smooth daily operations for contract pack clients and third-party sales agencies in the UK and export markets. This role offers the exciting opportunity to identify new business opportunities, manage costings, and develop enticing proposals. You'll nurture vital partnerships by collaborating with finance, development, technical, and supply chain teams. As the primary point of contact for channel-specific sales agencies, you'll foster strong connections to drive growth. Full training will be provided to set you up for success.
This is a Hybrid position, with 2 days per week in their Somerset office.
Responsibilities
* Drive sales for professional activities in alignment with corporate strategy
* Develop and manage marketing initiatives to achieve commercial budgets; enhance social media presence according to the marketing strategy on selected channels
* Ensure accurate costing of new products to meet company and customer requirements
* Oversee critical commercial project timelines, keeping all stakeholders informed of deadlines and ensuring projects comply with Food Safety and Quality standards
* Complete internal and external documentation for compliance and tendering purposes
* Conduct face-to-face meetings with current and prospective customers across the UK
* Support UK and international trade events as required
The Successful Candidate
* Food sector sales experience
* 3+ years’ experience in FMCG environment
* An understanding of food manufacturing
* Based in Somerset
