About the role:
As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering data-driven solutions across a range of client projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with architectural thinking, bringing deep technical expertise and a consultative approach to complex challenges.
You’ll work as part of our high-performing Data & AI practice, collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to design, build, and optimise data platforms using cutting-edge Azure technologies. Whether it’s developing scalable pipelines, enabling advanced analytics, or contributing to strategic data architecture, your work will have a tangible impact.
As a Data Engineer, you will:
1. Designing, building, and optimising scalable data solutions
2. Creating and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics
3. Developing data models and supporting transformation in Data Lakes, Snowflake, Databricks and Cosmos DB
4. Supporting data governance and lineage using tools like Microsoft Purview
5. Working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
6. Delivering dashboards and insights through Power BI
7. Coding in SQL, Python, Scala and T-SQL

Key Technical Skills:
8. Microsoft Purview (or similar data governance tools)
9. Microsoft Azure Cloud Technologies
10. Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory
11. Data Lake, Big Data platforms, Cosmos DB
12. Proficient in data modelling
13. Power BI
14. Proficient in SQL, Python, Scala, and T-SQL

17. Financial, People, or Project Management experience
18. Strong communication skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and business ambassadors
19. Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Azure DevOps

22. Solid knowledge of Data & AI technologies and trends
23. Strong business consultancy skills
