This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to take on a challenge. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion and flair in the culinary space. They will have solid experience in a similar role with a comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations and a proven track record in successfully working with a large kitchen brigade. We’re looking for people with a true passion for food with the ability to deliver a consistent product within a high-volume environment whilst keeping your cool when the pressure’s on.
WHAT YOU’LL DO …
You will ensure all Restaurant requirements and some Banqueting are dealt with in an orderly and accelerated manner, assist the Senior Chefs and act in accordance with Health & Safety legislation making certain that all stock is correctly labelled and rotated. You will ensure the kitchen is clean at any given time and liaise with the Stewarding team for all cleaning requirements. You will handle all complaints swiftly and efficiently, logging them in the handover book, and guarantee that all food items that are purchased are received and checked against the invoice, then stored in the correct manner.
