We are looking for a Skilled Chef to join the team and be part of the reopening of a small country pub on the outskirts of Chirk.
We are seeking someone with a real passion and knowledge about good food to implement, manage, and oversee our Eat-in and Take-out Menu.
This is a perfect first Head Chef job for someone wanting to advance in their career.
Hours of work will be as follows:
1. Wednesday 2-9pm (Food Served 4-8pm)
2. Thursday 2-9pm (Food Served 4-8pm)
3. Friday 11-9:30pm (Food Served 12-9pm)
4. Saturday 11-9:30pm (Food Served 12-9pm)
5. Sunday 11-9pm (Food Served 12-8pm)
Total 45 Hours, £29,500 pa.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have previous experience working with food, knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene training, work well under pressure, have good presentation skills, and understand the importance of good quality ingredients.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the running of the kitchen, implementing a small but high-quality menu, costings, margins, managing stock, and ordering management.
