Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily kitchen operations, hands-on.
* Plan menus and daily specials within company framework.
* Manage kitchen team in meal preparation.
* Monitor stock levels, manage stock orders.
* Carry out weekly stock count to achieve GP targets.
* Maintain equipment and working areas to highest food hygiene standards.
* Plan rotas and holidays to meet service levels.
* Work with Restaurant Manager to achieve highest standards, service, and sales.
Attributes:
* Successful and experienced Sous Chef or Head Chef, able to manage a team.
* Friendly, engaging personality, genuine love for customer service.
* Strong communicator, motivates and develops team to deliver with enthusiasm and great personality.
* Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
* Commercially aware, achieves sales and profit targets.
* Ability to write and cost menus using fresh ingredients.
