Meeting and Events Sales Executive overview:
* Manage and drive all new enquiries and planning of events for a modern roof terrace space providing an ideal setting for drink receptions and small dinners for up to 60 people.
* Manage bookings from enquiry stage through to contract stage for a larger venue which is popular for corporate meetings and events.
* Cross-sell and refer clients to all other venues within the portfolio and be part of a wider sales and events team of 30 plus people.
* Attend industry-related events.
* Conduct and lead venue show rounds.
* Engage with clients at the start of the event.
The role is positioned within a dedicated central team of six, committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing strong relationships with event agencies and the London corporate market. A key focus will be retaining business by showcasing the group’s outstanding event venues and versatile spaces, tailored to meet a wide range of client needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience of working within an event sales role for an events company, caterer, or venue is desirable (at least 2-3 years). Previous experience of using a CRM system and capable on Excel.
