Salary: £48,000 - £60,000 per year - based on skills and experience

Location: National with travel required on average once per month; however, this could be more or less depending on business requirements. Milton Keynes is a good central base location and is with the other training team members; however, we are flexible about where this is.

As a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated business, Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Ltd (VWFS) must comply with the Consumer Duty standards. Your role is therefore crucial to VWFS and our Sales department and oversees all Compliance specific training activity, from product knowledge certification/digital learning for our retailer partners to internal colleague support and development.
You will work alongside a team of Sales Compliance Consultants to mitigate risks through knowledge. Your primary focus will be to ensure retailers are capable of acting to deliver good outcomes for retail clients when selling vehicles on VWFS finance products, which will ensure VWFS adheres to UK regulatory requirements.
You will report into the General Manager of Sales Compliance and your stakeholders vary from retailer network partners to VWFS field-based teams to internal colleagues, across the United Kingdom. You will be expected to own the design, maintenance, and evolution of the VWFS (UK) Sales Compliance Training offer, as well as support and be a core member of our Sales Compliance team. To do this, you will have a good understanding of the UK regulatory landscape, training needs analysis techniques, and project management.

Here's how you can add value:
* You'll have worked in Financial Services and/or relevant Automotive sector, with demonstrable understanding of the UK regulatory environment that delivers good outcomes for all of our customers.
* Experienced in development and delivery of training across multiple platforms – preferably motor industry or sales-based.
* Stakeholder management experience – including managing the outputs of external businesses.
* You have a proven track record of consulting, negotiating, and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
* You're commercially aware with a demonstrable track record of adding value and delivering against objectives.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, across multiple stakeholder levels and business processes, and you're able to construct, as well as deliver, highly effective and influential key messages across multiple media environments.
* Compliance-focused, with a good level of understanding of the Financial Conduct Authority and what makes a good customer outcome.
* You're able to develop a broad understanding of functions within Volkswagen Financial Services, the Brand, and our Retailer Network.
* Analytical and able to identify root cause to determine the most appropriate and effective course of action.
* Effective stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and negotiate with others in order to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Strong organisational, creative, and project management skills.
* You're adaptable and self-motivated, with the capability to problem solve using your own initiative with limited supervision.
* Fully PC literate with minimum intermediate MS package skills – if you're an "expert" in PowerPoint this would be great.
* Full clean driving license.
This is what you will be doing:
* You will determine, design, deploy, maintain, and evaluate engaging, efficient, and fully compliant training solutions and materials accessible by all who sell VWFS products & services across all sales channels.
* Maintain a sound understanding of key regulatory obligations applicable to the motor finance industry, including development activity aimed at ensuring you and your key stakeholders operate in the spirit of Consumer Duty, Treating Customers Fairly, and the delivery of good customer outcomes.
* Provide oversight of Distributors’ completion of VWFS’s mandatory eLearning recertification, including the communication and analysis of performance reporting using Tableau, Excel, Salesforce, becoming the SME for Retail Sales.
* Support the sales team to mitigate identified sales compliance failures and risk/potential risk within distributor retailers by developing and delivering effective training and development solutions.
* Present regular and credible updates to the VWFS senior sales management team on the risks and opportunities of our sales compliance training approach – managing monthly reporting on training activities.
* Work alongside HR Learning & Development and Customer Operations Training teams to strengthen the sales compliance element of internal colleague training and onboarding inductions.
* Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Volkswagen Group Learning Services in order to act in the interests of the wider Volkswagen group of companies.
* Deliver effective meetings that include clear agendas and documented actions to engage relevant stakeholders to implement what has been agreed, maintaining appropriate meeting cadence.
* Escalate any concerns to the appropriate stakeholders and teams regarding observed compliance behaviours within retailer sales processes that may lead to increased risk of customer detriment.
* Act as an owner to identify and share best practice using the Salesforce Knowledge platform.
* Collaborate with our Corporate Communications team to plan and communicate actions and updates to our retailer network.
* Lead and/or participate in discrete projects as outlined by the Sales Director and/or General Manager – Sales Compliance.
* Support General Manager - Sales Compliance to ensure VWFS Sales Compliance Policies and Procedures remain current and up-to-date in line with VWFS policy guidelines.
