As the food and beverage partner
to Factory International, we are recruiting for a high-level Head Chef to be
responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen and corporate events. This
includes a ground floor café, pizzeria, and festival square – made up of trade
vans and pop ups. This is a truly unique position where no two days are the
same:
Key responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for daily operations of
the culinary department.
* Working closely with the General Manager to
deliver corporate and daily events
* Managing, training, and supporting a brigade of
chefs
* Maintaining or raising the profit margins on
food
* Have a good understanding of
P&Ls, Stocks, GPs, compliance
* Experience in driving and
implementing changes based on the venue’s growth strategy
* Have an excellent eye for detail
About You
* Previous managerial experience in a high-volume
hospitality or events environment
* Be personable, driven, and ambitious
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot
where required
* Strong EPOS system knowledge
* Commercial knowledge of budgeting, forecasting
and effective cost control management
* Experience working with 3rd party suppliers
