Please note that this role will be based within the beautiful Peebles Hydro, located near the Scottish borders, just 40 minutes from Edinburgh., 1. Relationship Management with our clients, nurturing new business in a timely and friendly manner. 2. A pro-active approach to all new enquiries and sales leads either by phone or email. Making clear recommendations based on customer needs, and providing clear and detailed proposals, sales materials & contracts as required. 3. Co-ordinate bookings from enquiries through to the event. This includes booking function rooms; reserving room allocations; reducing room allocations according to agreed T&Cs; confirming menus, prices and food & drink packages; co-ordinating event times; booking entertainment; booking specialist equipment requests; organising extras such as flowers or champagne; issuing contracts and secure payments prior to the event in line with department standards. 4. Follow set procedures and audit multiple bookings across different formats to ensure continuity and accuracy. 5. Work closely with the current team to help relieve pressure points, whilst carefully balancing this with your own workload.
