Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team and assist our Head Chef. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences while leading and supervising kitchen staff. Responsibilities
1. Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
2. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
3. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
4. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings that reflect current culinary trends.
5. Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
6. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
7. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
8. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and professional growth.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
2. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
3. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing teams effectively.
4. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
6. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Pay: £11.44-£14.50 per hour
