We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef for one of the region's leading wedding and events caterers and be part of a small, friendly team delivering high-quality catering for weddings, private parties, charity dinners, corporate events, and Christmas Parties.
The Role
1. Assist in preparing and delivering exceptional catering for events in Herts, Beds, and Bucks.
2. Work as part of a team or lead on-site during busy wedding and event seasons.
3. Help develop menus using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
4. Help develop seasonal menus.
5. Work from our clients' approved kitchen during the week and at various venues across the weekends.
6. Prepare tasting menus for potential clients.
7. Follow strict health and hygiene practices.
8. Ensure guest dietary and allergy requirements are met.
9. Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
The Ideal Candidate
1. CDP or Sous Chef looking for a new challenge.
2. Experience in fresh, high-volume catering.
3. A flexible, hands-on approach.
4. Full UK driving licence and access to a car - some of the venues are remote.
