Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Sales Executive. The main office will be located in Dereham, with flexibility for some remote work including meeting prospective and current customers in a face-to-face setting and attending events. The Senior Sales Executive will join an existing, successful team responsible for identifying and targeting new business opportunities with UK organisations with over 1,000 staff (FTSE 100, FTSE 250, Large Enterprise Accounts), developing and maintaining relationships with clients, achieving sales targets, and managing the sales pipeline. This is a Senior Role within the business, so it relies on strong internal & external stakeholder management and includes clear routes for internal promotion(s).
Qualifications
1. Strong sales skills, including lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals
2. Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Knowledge of the secure destruction industry and related regulations
5. Experience in B2B sales (ideally service sales)
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
7. Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn
8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred, but not required
Salary
£35,500 - £40,000, depending on experience.
Total Earnings
As this is a new business sales role, there is significant scope for additional earnings. Avena has an uncapped commission and bonus structure, with realistic and demonstrable earnings in this role of an additional £25,000-£40,000 per year.
