Your role and responsibilities provide regular supervision and support to a team of assessing and supervising social workers support with the recruitment of foster carers and adopters take day to day management oversight of fostering Stage one, FormF and transferring assessments, including foster carer’s expenses, annual reviews, allegations etc. work in collaboration and contribute to service delivery, to ensure that Fostering FormF’s and annual reviews are completed to a high standard work alongside other Consultant Social Workers within the fostering service, you will deputise for the Practice Manager in their absence support the Practice Manager with relevant innovation projects in order to develop the service facilitate training for prospective foster carers. You will need a relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration is essential knowledge of developmental trauma and knowledge of relevant theories which apply knowledge of the recruitment and assessment of foster carers is desirable but not essential.
