What we're looking for: The Meeting and Events Sales Executive will be a passionate and enthusiastic, vivacious individual who is willing to learn, with the ability to build rapport and strong relationships with all stakeholders including clients and colleagues. Within this role you could be responsible for organising and coordinating some of the most impressive events, and driving and managing sales within a leading hotel. Day in the life of: You will support a busy events department across the full lifecycle of events. Picture yourself engaging with potential clients, showcasing our venue during a dazzling show round, or coordinating the finer details of a wedding with the couple of the hour. Your day could even include orchestrating internal operations meetings and collaborating closely with various departments to ensure every event flows flawlessly. If you're ready to immerse yourself in a whirlwind of creativity, teamwork, and the joy of crafting exceptional events, this is your spotlight moment Example key responsibilities: Proactively promoting and selling the hotel and its facilities via a range of different channels. Taking and processing enquiries for events such as weddings, charity balls, celebrations, team building packages etc. Inputting data and details into the sales system, Delphi. Exporting reports and compiling information to review and share for upcoming events. Maintaining excellent product knowledge of the hotel and its services. Answering the phone, and emails and attending meetings. Receiving feedback and managing this effectively and efficiently. Supporting to maximise sales opportunities. And identify new leads or sales opportunities. Building rapport with new and existing clientele. Working collaboratively with supporting departments. Working to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Preparation and communication of accurate and detailed function sheets. Collection of pre-orders and payments.
