We are working with a bespoke Events company based in South London looking for a Sous Chef to showcase Fine Dining and the very best Events on offer! The hours will be mainly day times Tue-Fri and then possibly longer on Saturdays but no Sunday evening service means you will do lunch and then finish.
This is a 5/7 day operation and you should expect to work every weekend between May to September but then after that it will likely be every other weekend, so flexibility on hours is essential for this position.
The role is based full time at one of their venues in Richmond so you will need to be able to travel to the area and parking is available on site if you drive. You will day to day cater for the Members Club and then at weekends over the summer cater for the events.
Sous Chefs must have previous experience in Event, Fine Dining or Banqueting and worked in busy kitchens. You could be doing dinners or lunches for 10-15 or events up to 150. You will work alongside another Sous Chef and supported as needed for larger events
You will need to be confident and personable in helping with client tastings and menu creation using the finest local and seasonal produce.
