Position Overview
Soleto Bistro is seeking an experienced and creative Sous Chef.
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, menu planning, experimenting with recipes and flavours, inventory management, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Menu Planning and Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative and exciting menu offerings that meet the standards of our establishment and satisfy customer preferences.
* Food Preparation: Oversee and participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
* Kitchen Management: Assist in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including ordering ingredients, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
