As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. The Clog and Billycock, nestled in the picturesque village of Pleasington, is a true gem. Inside, you’re welcomed by open fires, cosy rugs, and original wooden and flagged stone floors. Our bar boasts an impressive selection of cask ales, malts, gins, and a curated list of around 50 wines to suit every palate.
Outside, our stunning terrace is a sun-soaked haven during summer, transforming into a covered seating area with an open fire during the cooler months.

About you...
Our kitchens are dynamic, fast-paced, and high volume. You will have experience as a Head Chef, Chef Manager, Kitchen Manager, or Senior Sous Chef in a busy, premium fresh food environment. You will be responsible for the food culture within your pub, working closely with the pub manager to drive the business forward, helping to formulate seasonal menus with our Executive Chefs. We seek a confident leader who nurtures their team and creates an inclusive, supportive environment. You’ll also need excellent business acumen to manage stock, GPs, and labour controls.
