Our Client requires a Sous Chef to join an idyllic resort that offers excellent team training on the South Devon coast.If your looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your creative flair and culinary skills then this is the position for you. £40,000 Plus trunk – up to £4,000 Meals on duty Live in available As a Sous Chef, you will be working 5 days a week and will need to be able to step up in support of the Head Chef and run the Kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Using fresh produce with a seasonal changing menu and an emphasis on local goods, you will be asked for ideas and encouraged to develop yourself. The successful Sous Chef will need to have a strong understanding of kitchen management and staff training, be able to deputise in the senior chefs absence and be keen to help develop daily specials.We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate a good track record in a fresh food based environments, trained to at Junior Sous Chef level and be an excellent team player. (Brigade of 8 -10) Ideally will have Michelin star or Rosette experience and be looking to really challenge your creative side.
