Job Description:
We have been asked to recruit a Head Chef on behalf of one of the best Restaurants in Lincoln. Under the same ownership since 2008, our client is one of the areas’ leading hotels. The hotel has a strong reputation locally and has for a long time delivered consistent standards. The current Head Chef is leaving to take a role out of the area, and he has been in post for 6 years. A unique opportunity for a dedicated and committed Sous or Head Chef who enjoys creativity and can produce great food using fresh ingredients.
We are looking for a candidate with the following attributes:
1. A strong, organised Head Chef who has exceptional leadership qualities.
2. A genuine passion for creating and producing seasonal dishes using fresh ingredients
3. A proven track record within a high volume, yet quality hotel kitchen
4. Experience within a high quality banqueting hotel
5. 1 AA Rosette level experience
6. Commercially astute and able to achieve the agreed food G.P
7. Someone who can develop the team and nurture the chefs within the brigade
8. Overall responsibility for the production of seasonal menus across all areas of the business including Lounge, Restaurant, weddings and private events.
9. Develop relationships with suppliers and ensure the best quality produce
