Our well-established & highly progressive client is recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive to increase their market exposure / UK coverage.
Projects can be £100K's to £1M+ as they work with both SME's & Major Nationals UK wide.
This interior fit-out role would suit a Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, UK Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar from within the CAT & CAT B interior fit-out industry, or from a similar construction / built environment solution sales business.
Duties:
1. Winning new CAT A & CAT B interior fit-out business across varying sectors.
2. Maintaining & developing all existing business partnerships & growing them.
3. Using various market intelligence, actively target potential new customers.
4. Work closely with sales colleagues, design, project teams & marketing teams, delivering commercial support & commercial management (costings, estimates, tenders etc.).
5. Work in unison with the project management & site management teams.
6. Provide project management support on larger & more complex projects, including the procurement of subcontractors, materials, plant & labour, as required to successfully deliver the project OTIF & to the quality standards expected by the end using customer.
7. Provide technical & product advice & support to the operational teams, using your CAT A & CAT B interior fit-out / construction industry knowledge & expertise.
8. Deliver increased annual turnover figures & continuously improve margin levels (YOY).
9. Support marketing function by assisting with future marketing strategy, ensuring the marketing strategy aligns with the sales / business development strategy.
10. Responsible for P&L performance for interior fit-out projects under your control.
11. Ensure business risk management is always monitored.
12. Fully understand the clients brief, carry out on-site surveys, understand the scope of works & the specific design requirements, to deliver the clients desired interior.
Required Skills:
1. CAT A & CAT B interior fit-out sales professional or Construction sales professional.
2. Strong sales & business development skills, winning high-end / high-value contracts.
3. Sales Executive / Sales Management / Business Development Management experience.
4. Excellent professional communication & people skills, able to build strong rapports.
5. Strong solutions sales, costings, surveying, planning & product delivery skills.
6. Strong commercial management skills, focused on correct price, correct margin & profit levels & ensuring risk mitigation at all times, delivering OTIF to set KPI's / measures.
