We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Executive to join our Commercial Inside Sales Team. We are looking for candidates to be based either at our Glenrothes office in Fife or at our office in Blyth, Northumberland. In this role, you will ensure professional representation of VELUX Commercial, products, services and VELUX values. You will be tasked with lead generation and management of new and existing customers and influencers. This role requires a team player who is an ambitious, persistent and committed individual, able to deliver great customer service and new successes. This Position Will Suit You If You are committed to generating high quality sales leads for the business. You are accustomed to working to KPI’s as set by the line manager. You are a confident communicator who will take the initiative to reach out to construction companies to qualify opportunities or find new opportunities. You have a team mentality and relish the opportunity to work collaboratively with the rest of the Inside Sales team. You are enthusiastic about raising the VELUX Commercial full product portfolio awareness with all customers. You are skilled in account management, following up on sales enquiries and orders from customers and developing new business. You have the flexibility to deal with a variety of stakeholders: fielding enquiries from Architects, Main Contractors, Installers, End Users and Sales Managers What We Ask Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and have some experience of using CRM systems or similar Experience in the building or glazing industry would be an advantage Willingness to commit to approximately 1-2 days travel (including overnight stays) per quarter. Travel will be both domestic and international.
