Morson are currently supporting a professional services organisation based in Sheffield who are looking for a HR Generalist to join their HR team.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 DOE. This is a regional role which will require travel to Manchester, Scotland, Sheffield, York and Newcastle - on average around 2 - 3 days per week. You will receive mileage to compensate for this.
As a HR Generalist, you will be required to support across the entire employee lifecycle, including payroll.
The Role:
1. ER case management
2. Supporting across the recruitment and selection process
3. Processing payroll
4. Coaching and upskilling managers on a range of HR issues
5. Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies
6. First line HR guidance
7. HR reporting
8. Support with employee pension and benefits
9. Policy enhancement
Requirements:
1. A strong understanding of HR policies and procedures
2. Good employment law knowledge
3. Proven experience of working as a generalist HR professional
4. Access to your own vehicle for travel
