We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join a Distribution company in Chelmsford, Essex. Paying £12.80-£13.80 per hour (£25,000 - £27,000 per annum) depending on experience.
This is a Temporary-Permanent position working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
This Sales Executive role involves building strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business, and ensuring a seamless sales process from inquiry to order completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and repeat business.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise revenue.
Handle incoming inquiries, provide quotes, and process orders efficiently to convert sales opportunities.
Manage inboxes and ticketing systems, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
Escalate complex issues to the relevant department for guidance.
Negotiate returns with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring smooth processing.Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in sales and account management.
Strong ability to identify and capitalise on upsell opportunities.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce); knowledge of NetSuite is a plus (training provided).
