We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join a Distribution company in Chelmsford, Essex.
Paying £12.80-£13.80 per hour (£25,000 - £27,000 per annum) depending on experience.
This is a Temporary-Permanent position working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
This Sales Executive role involves building strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business, and ensuring a seamless sales process from inquiry to order completion.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Process online orders efficiently while identifying opportunities for upselling and alternative product recommendations.
2. Handle supplier calls, addressing queries and escalating issues when necessary.
3. Manage inbound support tickets via Zendesk, ensuring timely responses within set targets.
4. Qualify and assess incoming customer enquiries to understand their needs.
5. Follow up on quotes and sales orders to maximize conversions.
6. Generate opportunities from calls and emails, preparing and sending accurate quotes.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
8. Keep customer records up to date within the internal system.
Skills & Experience required to be considered for this Sales Executive position:
1. Experience using Zendesk is desirable.
2. Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
3. Previous experience in a Call Centre or Customer Service role.
4. Proficiency in IT systems with the ability to learn new software quickly.
5. A team player with a proactive attitude, motivated to work towards targets and achieve success.
