Sous Chef
Duties:
1. Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations
2. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
3. Collaborate with the culinary team to create and develop new menu items
4. Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to established standards
5. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
6. Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
7. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
8. Assist in the development of recipes and menus
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen
2. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills
5. Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
6. Ability to work well as part of a team
