We are working with a leading Contract Catering company for this lovely site based in Central London and recruiting for a Sous Chef. This role will be working in the restaurant, which offers refined Brasserie style food. This is a Monday to Friday role with core hours being 7am to 4pm.
If you are a Sous Chef working in a restaurant kitchen at Michelin Level or Rosette Level and want the freedom of evenings and weekends off, then this could be the role for you. Alternatively, if you are in a contract catering kitchen and looking for a better salary, then this is a great opportunity!
The Sous Chef will generally work alone and be supported by the Head Chef and other chefs as needed. You will cook around 15-30 covers at present with the opportunity to increase covers and build a small team in the future.
The Sous Chef will be responsible for running the kitchen on a day-to-day basis, including ordering and stock takes. You must be used to busy service and be able to organise and ensure all food goes out looking good on time.
The menu currently consists of 4 Starters and 4 Mains with side options, and you will have the ability to create menus and dishes using fresh seasonal produce.
