There are fifteen boarding houses in total & two Hub kitchens across the site, some houses have in house Chef’s. Hub Kitchen’s prepare food for six houses & it is then delivered to various houses. The required role would be based in the HUB Kitchen’s. Ensuring that the school’s reputation for quality, consistency & choice is enhanced for Students & House Staff at all times We provide Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner service across all locations, along with any other ad hoc requirements for the houses. Adopt a hands-on approach taking full responsibility & accountability for the food production within the HUB kitchen Possess an exceptional drive for preparing & delivering high levels of Consistency, Quality & Choice across all food services Responsibility & accountability for Food Safety, Health & Safety, HACCP and COSHH within the HUB kitchens You'll be set up for success if you have: Proven experience in a role as a Senior Sous /Sous Chef, being able to demonstrate a track record of catering for large numbers Have a ‘big personality.’ Great people skills and be able to lead, develop, train, and inspire your team. Have a real passion for food and customer service along with bags of enthusiasm. Food Innovation and development is essential along with being up to date with current food trends A good knowledge level of Allergens, Natasha’s law & ensure up to date on any relevant changes that would impact the service provided Ability to communicate at all levels – Team, management & client levels Superb culinary skills Good financial understanding High standards and be quality driven Excellent organisational skills A 'Can do' attitude A full driving licence
