Head Chef About us: The King's Arms Wandsworth, home to one of London's most famous beer gardens. We are currently looking for a head chef to join our team. we have two kitchens one inside and one outside. Fantastic fresh produce suppliers for you to write seasonal menus. Our expectation is two menu's per year with seasonal tweak's along the way. Lovely working environment and live in facilities including a live in roof terrace. Before you start you will undergo a two week training course to set you up for success and get use to all our software. From ordering to health and safety. This course is fully provided by us and you get paid whilst on it. Have experience championing excellent service through quality food either as a Head Chef or in the position of Sous Chef Demonstrate a passion for leading and developing a team Be an active hands-on team player with excellent communication skills Be responsible and able to manage the kitchen staff rota, training and all health and safety effectively at all times Be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both GP and labour Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
