Learning and Development Manager Summary: Learning and Development Manager Not for Profit Care Charity Winchester (Hybrid Working) Travel across multiple sites 35 hours per week Up to £40,000 per annum The Brendoncare Foundation are recruiting for a Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to develop and deliver a plan for embedding a culture of continuous learning and growth. Working closely with the wider leadership team, you will enable us to continually upskill our workforce and support colleagues to develop their skills and career, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Key Responsibilities Design, source, implement, and manage learning and development programs and initiatives that align with regulatory requirements, best practices, and Brendoncare’s strategy. Proactively engage with key stakeholders (Leadership, Heads of Department and line managers) to ensure learning and development aligns with operational and strategic priorities. Responsible for conducting and regularly reviewing training and learning needs analysis to identify gaps and tailor development pathways for individuals, teams and the organisation. Ensure compliance with social care and professional standards such as Care Quality Commission (CQC), Skills for Health and Skills for Care, HSE and legislative frameworks. Oversee the induction and onboarding process for new staff, ensuring they are set up for success with the necessary support and training. Provide support, advice and coaching to Heads of Department and managers to enable them to create personalised development plans for colleagues that supports professional and personal development. Responsible for contract and management of Brendoncare’s Learning and Management System, including eLearning modules to ensure service levels are met and it delivers high quality and value. Responsible for management of external accredited training providers including universities, apprenticeship training providers and colleges, ensuring that Brendoncare receives high quality and value. We would like you to have: Demonstrable experience of assessing learning needs and designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes in health, social care or related sectors. Demonstrates creativity and innovation with ability to think outside the box and develop unique solutions that enhance the learning experience and address the evolving needs of the organisation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience of successfully managing stakeholder relationships. Experience of managing e-learning and learning management systems and delivering reporting and actionable insights. Experience of procurement, contract negotiation and management that delivers quality and value for money. Experience of apprenticeships and leadership development programmes. Excellent IT skills. Experience of working within a multi-site organisation is desirable A recognised training or professional qualification is desirable. Experience of managing budgets is desirable.
