Do you have a passion for meeting new colleagues and helping them to have a great day at work? If this sounds like you keep reading. We’re looking for someone to join our Contact Centre team as a Contact Centre trainer. You’ll be one of the first team members to meet our new Customer Service Advisors when they join the team for their induction week. Working alongside another Trainer you’ll be supporting new team members through their induction, helping them to understand our processes, our systems, how to have a great customer interaction and all about the customer support that is available at Aster Group. You’ll provide ongoing support to new starters further into their journey, you’ll meet them again to provide further training and you’re very much likely to be that ‘go to’ person when there is a question. You will find that you really invest in the team, ensuring that your training material is always current and suitable for your learners. When not training you’ll find that you can get involved in all sorts of projects. This could include system development or process changes and will require you to work with many more colleagues in the business, supporting you to build your internal network. At times you’ll need to have robust conversations, this won’t phase you as you’ll understand the bigger picture and colleagues will appreciate the knowledge and experience you bring to the role. Our Contact Centre has a team of 44 Customer Services Advisors, during August 2024 we received 16,000 calls and more than 5000 emails and live chats. If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly. About You You most likely will have worked in a training/coaching capacity in previous roles. You will have a natural engaging communication style and will be able to adapt your message to suit your audience. You will understand the benefits of working within processes that enable strong customer service. You will have experience using databases and CRMs and will be confident in preparing and updating training material to support learning. You’ll understand that sharing your knowledge and experience is really beneficial to team development and you will be a great advocate for future plans, always looking forward and learning from what’s come before. You will be great at time management, there will be times when you have a few balls in the air, so being able to prioritise will be a great support in the role. Our induction sessions are held in the Devizes Hub, so you’ll be suitably located to enable you to run the week long inductions and following on training face to face with our new starters. You will also be happy and willing to travel to colleagues in other Hubs from time to time to support with their learning.
