Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food preparation, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to excellence. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food production, and managing a team of skilled cooks in a dynamic restaurant environment.
Duties
1. Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
2. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant’s identity.
3. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
5. Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
6. Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen to meet hygiene standards.
8. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen management.
3. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
4. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food production.
5. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
6. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development.
7. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food handling.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 38 – 56 per week
