The Customer Support Apprenticeship Programme:
As part of your apprenticeship, you will complete:
Year 1: You will spend time at a private local engineering training provider where the relevant qualification units will be delivered and assessed.
Year 2-3: Will be delivered and assessed within Safran where you will be required to achieve a Level 3 Diploma. To support individual Development Plans, all apprentices will spend allocated time to work in different departments according to each training needs

•Dealing with internal and external customers providing product knowledge and support to investigate and solve in service issues with airlines and operators
•Produce, review and update technical documentation to support air framers for a variety of products
•Forecast spares demand using statistical analysis working with other team members to integrate market intelligence into the forecast
•Complete in depth data analysis to identify areas of concern and propose recommendations for improvement to avoid excessive and shortages of products.
This will enable you to develop an excellent foundation in the Customer Support Centre. As a valued member of the team, your knowledge and skills will be utilised to assist our continuous improvement programme, thereby ensuring that our customers are supported through the life cycle of our products.
What do I need?
You will have a keen interest in science and engineering and be able to demonstrate a
methodical and thorough approach to work.
You will possess excellent problem solving abilities.
The role of apprentice will require you to be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will be a motivated, hardworking individual with excellent planning and organisational skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own will be key to your success.
