The operator currently owns 24+ sites across Scotland in their portfolio and is an established and extremely reputable company on the circuit, boasting restaurants, hotels, bars and cafes from Aberdeen, St Andrews, Glasgow to Edinburgh.
The specific venue is situated in a desirable location in the Southside of Glasgow and is a community hub bar and restaurant setting with a Sunday Roast alongside a menu of Scottish and British classics. There is live music on Saturdays and is a popular place to watch sports for the local community.
The ideal candidate must be able to run daily kitchen operations as well and have the creative flair to come up with specials and plan for the weeks ahead.
There is a solid team in place FOH and BOH, with this candidate stepping into a well oiled operation with a brand new kitchen and spacious setting to work every day.

Our reputable client at Global Talent 2020, is looking for a creative leader in the kitchen to maintain and build on the venue's success. The responsibilities include managing the team of around eight chefs setting up the kitchen to success, adhering to the company brand standards, H&S standards and continuing the high reputation of the venue.
The ideal Head Chef candidate must have had prior experience of producing fresh quality food and had experience of volume restaurants in the high street space. You will need to be highly approachable with your personality, as you will be interacting with other senior department heads, regional management, and with all levels of the site diverse teams.
Our client requires an ideal Head Chef, that is keen to train, coach and mentor their teams, evolve food services, deliver consistent menus and food concepts, and further the reputation of the business as an Employer of choice.
As the Head Chef, you must be proven to be flexible, and highly adaptive in all your approaches to your team, and with delivery of concepts developed with the company Executive Chef.
As Head Chef, you must also be someone that not only has strong all-round culinary abilities, great presentation skills, possess food innovation skills, but someone that also is an effective manager of the kitchen environment, health, and safety, COSHH, RIDDOR, recruitment, training, and mentoring of others, and possess strong cost & budgetary control skill sets of their area.
