Job Role - Sous Chef
Rate of pay: £30,000-£32,000
Hours: 08:00-15:00/09:00-18:00 (Alternate Weekends)

Salary: £30,000 + tips
Hours: Permanent, Full Time (Rotated Shift pattern - alternate weekends)
Location: Thetford, Norfolk

Responsibilities:
1. To supervise the kitchen team on a day-to-day basis
2. To assist in the training and development of the catering staff
3. To ensure that we have sufficient supplies to maintain the daily menu
4. To organise the cooking and preparation and whatever is necessary to maintain the daily menu
5. To attend a weekly meeting with the Catering Manager
6. To ensure the team have completed the job lists provided and achieve what is expected
7. To ensure all team members are productive and fully occupied
8. To ensure daily breaks are taken
9. To ensure all kitchen staff complete wastage and temperature records
10. To provide the catering manager with a report for the monthly staff meeting
11. To carry out the agreed procedures for Health and Safety and Food Safety
12. To undertake any other reasonable tasks requested by the catering manager
13. To ensure regular performance reviews are carried out and recorded
Requirements:
1. Experience as a Sous Chef in a similar venue
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Strong leadership skills
4. Passionate about food
5. Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
