A day in the life of…
As Hotel Reservations & Sales Executive, your role will be to convert bookings and generate leads resulting in revenue growth within the business and support the delivery of the commercial strategy.
You will also be responsible for:
* Ensuring all details on contracts & pro - forma's are completed
* Successfully convert reservation enquiries from individuals and groups into materialised bookings.
* Manage multiple properties & prioritising work load
* Liaising with the on property team to ensure guests requirements are met
* Identifying any new leads and contacts, working with the Sales teams in driving engagement for lead generation
* Responding to sales opportunities to drive revenue growth. Performing general office duties and administrative tasks where needed.
* Preparing weekly monthly reports as required.
Based in the Central Reservations Office (Located within the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel), you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in his role you will have previous experience working in a Sales/reservations team, preferably in the hospitality industry. An excellent telephone manner and strong IT skills are paramount to ensure success within this role. You will be committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience and be able to respond and thrive within a fast-paced environment.
