Extensive commercial expertise with AWS is required, including services like Glue, Data Catalog, and large-scale data storage solutions such as data lakes. Responsibilities:
* As a Data Engineer, I will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, automated data pipelines that ingest, process, and deliver quality data across our internal systems. I will lead the setup of a centralized data lake to unify data from various sources, supporting business intelligence and analytics needs. I will partner with teams across the organization, including Product, Analytics, and IT, to ensure that data requirements are met and that our systems align with business objectives. I will continuously improve data workflows by identifying optimization and automation opportunities to enhance system performance. Additionally, I will guide junior engineers by providing mentorship and fostering best practices within our data team. I will also stay current with data engineering technologies and innovations, ensuring that our infrastructure remains scalable and future-ready.
