The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales executive to join our team as our first dedicated sales hire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company, shape our sales strategy, and play a key role in building our market presence in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to engage UK-based institutional clients.
* Identify, qualify, and build relationships with wealth managers, fund managers, family offices, and other institutional investors.
* Present and promote SailWealth’s UCITS fund solutions tailored to client needs.
* Work closely with the CEO to refine product offerings and value propositions based on market feedback.
* Generate leads, secure new business opportunities, and manage the end-to-end sales process.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales performance metrics.
Qualifications
* Track record in sales within financial services, ideally with experience in distributing UCITS or related investment products.
* Network of contacts within the UK wealth management and institutional investment sector.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and results-driven.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales function.
* Understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Finance
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
