People Team (HR) Generalist We are looking for a People Team Generalist who is an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to collaborating effectively with colleagues. As a People Team (HR) Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting our business initiatives and ensuring that our workplace remains inclusive, supportive, and aligned with our people-first philosophy while we work with our employees to achieve our strategic business goals. What we are looking for You should have solid experience working within a commercial People Team (HR) function, ideally, as an experienced generalist seeking the next step in your career in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You should understand and be keenly interested in how the People function can directly impact the business through the importance of employment relations, recruitment practices, policy governance, processes and procedures needed to support our People team while promoting an inclusive and healthy company culture. You will work independently, managing your KPIs and contributing to the team's KPIs to meet company objectives. You should have a CIPD Level 5 qualification or an equivalent HR qualification as a minimum. Technical & Role Specific Ensure that people policies, processes, and initiatives are effectively communicated and embedded and that employees have a clear understanding of what is expected of them. Provide generalist HR support across the full employee life cycle and support wider HR initiatives and projects. Review absence levels, performance levels etc and support the People Business Partner in dealing with issues as they arise. Maintain accurate employee records and notes through our People Systems to ensure clean records are kept for reporting, development and performance management. Support employee engagement initiatives to enhance the employee experience. Organise interviews and provide other sourcing and selection support by assisting the interview process where needed. Work in partnership with the People Business Partner and Chief People Officer to deliver the people strategies. Drive the people experience for staff and managers by ensuring the probation period is carried out consistently and adhered to within the business. Managing the employee experience of the Maternity/paternity cycle.
