About the role:
As the Reward Manager your role will be to lead the design and implementation of all-employee Reward policies and processes across the Group. This includes across all countries in which Drax has colleagues and across business areas.
You’ll be accountable for the delivery of the Group’s annual Reward processes, including but not limited to the annual pay review process, annual bonus round and the execution of share-based awards. This will include project planning and budgeting, overseeing the preparation of materials and systems build, training of and delivery through Reward/ HR colleagues, and manage the ongoing engagement with HR Business Partners, internal auditors and other internal stakeholders.
You’ll play a lead advisory and consulting role to the HR function on a range of Reward activities and on broader business projects that required Reward subject matter expertise.
You’ll have three direct reports: Reward Specialist, Reward Advisor, and the Reward Analyst. You’ll support their continuous professional development and be their point of contact for day to day escalations.
Who we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
• Experience as a Reward Manager in other organisations.
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Proven experience designing and implementing comprehensive compensation and rewards programmes, including salary structures and incentive plans.
• Strong understanding of benefits and defined contribution pension arrangements, and preferably you’ve had responsibility for running such programmes in other organisations.
• Strong understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations in the UK and knowledge or experience of the same for North America.
