We are currently seeking an enthusiastic IT Testing Lead to join our dynamic team within the Financial Support IT department. This department plays a crucial role in supporting customers who are facing financial difficulties and require our bank's assistance. By joining us, you will not only have the chance to help these customers but also ensure that our bank's commitments are met.
In this high-profile role, you’ll be responsible for leading testing strategies, managing resources for testing preparation and execution. It is an important role accountable for protecting and minimizing risk to both customers and operational areas following deployment to live, while supporting IT and San UK change processes.
The role is complex and diverse, requiring both in-depth technical knowledge and the ability to identify and manage risk levels, combined with strong people and stakeholder management skills. You will lead a team of testers and support BAU project and change management to mitigate risks associated with software delivery.
The difference you’ll make.
* Managing sign-off and change deliveries within the Agile framework for user testing, supporting risk management to deliver quality software, code, and processes.
* Assessing information and technical documentation, including process analysis reports, to support business objectives for user testing.
* Forecasting and planning workloads and efforts against delivery dates to ensure effective allocation and benefits to change management.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships for deployment support, communicating and managing stakeholder expectations across the bank.
What you’ll bring.
* Experience leading and working with automation testers, creating and facilitating quality test scripts and execution for deployments. Managing system and technical testing, including planning, resource, and issue management.
* Experience with testing tools, change management processes, and knowledge of agile methodologies, applying appropriate approaches in software development and CI/CD practices.
It would also be nice for you to have.
* Agile Certification
* Knowledge of API/Microservices and app development
* Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) and their reporting capabilities
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills, confident communication, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and high attention to detail.

This is a 12-month contract role based in Milton Keynes, with an expectation of working at least 2 days a week in the office.
