We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager, Talent Communities to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. The Manager, Talent Communities will play an instrumental role in proactively pipelining future talent, which is a key part of our Talent Acquisition strategy across the Liberty Global corporate functions, ventures portfolio and emerging businesses. The Manager, Talent Communities will work closely with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to identify future recruitment needs based on our skill and behaviour gaps. The Manager, Talent Acquisition, Talent Communities will research talent markets, build talent pools, and provide critical insights into candidate availability. The successful candidate will be responsible for mapping, identifying, engaging and nurturing passive talent pools in order to build proactive talent pipelines across the Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting high calibre candidates to Liberty Global, whilst offering a first-class candidate experience. The Manager, Talent Communities will complement a high-performing Talent Acquisition team made up of Talent Acquisition Business Partners, striving to maintain the reputation of the recruitment function as a business-aligned, value-add function who enable business growth. What will you be doing? Candidate Sourcing and Research: Use various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking) to identify potential candidates. Conduct targeted research to create and maintain a talent pool of high-potential candidates for current and future roles. Assist in headhunting for niche and hard-to-fill positions by developing sourcing strategies. Screening and Initial Engagement: Pre-screen candidates and play key role in candidate qualification. Conduct initial outreach to passive candidates to assess their interest and availability. Present qualified candidates to the recruitment team for further consideration. Market Mapping and Talent Insights: Map the talent market to provide insights on candidate availability, industry trends, and competitor hiring strategies. Conduct industry-specific research to identify talent trends, emerging roles, and critical skills in demand. Database Management: Maintain and update candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and talent database. Ensure accurate documentation of candidate interactions and profiles. Collaboration with Recruitment Team: Work closely with recruiters to align sourcing strategies with the overall recruitment plan. Attend briefings and debriefs to stay updated on hiring needs and priorities. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive experience for all candidates by providing timely updates and clear communication throughout the process. Build strong relationships with candidates, keeping them engaged in future opportunities. Internal Talent Management: Partner with internal talent teams to identify, map and socialize internal talent Assist in creating internal talent pools for key roles and skills, supporting internal mobility and career development Track and monitor internal talent profiles, identifying employees ready for development or new roles We tend to look for people with: Essential: Experience working in a recruitment role (ideally research-oriented) within a large global organisation Experience in market research, recruitment marketing, or executive search Experience in internal talent management or supporting internal mobility programs Expertise in talent sourcing, attracting top-tier candidates, and developing strong talent pipelines Strong research skills with the ability to identify and engage top external and internal talent Proficiency in using a range of sourcing tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates at all levels. Experience supporting internal talent management initiatives or programs. A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. Strong data gathering and presentation skills; a good storyteller Strong communication and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders What’s in it for you?
