We are embarking on an ambitious business change programme with the aim of harnessing the power of our data to continue to drive the business forward and help us serve our customers even better. We are at the beginning of this journey and are looking for an enthusiastic Data Engineer who enjoys embedding new ways of working and showcasing their skills to drive change within the business.
You will be working within the data strategy team, which formed in 2024, to implement data solutions and help lay the foundations for future exciting data projects.
As part of the programme team, you will be working with other people who are passionate about bringing new ways of thinking around data to the business and will be well supported in exploring new directions of travel.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to showcase the power of data, drive change within the business, and help embed best practise.
This role is on a fixed term basis until the end of 2025.
About you
Degree within a technical or business-related discipline, or equivalent experience
Proven experience designing and implementing engineering solutions to complex problems with usage of data mining tools and techniques
Exposure to large and complex datasets, identifying efficiencies, required manipulation and governance
Communication skills with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical audiences
Inquisitive nature with strong analytical skills
