Our client operates this prestigious 4 star Hotel set in Rotherham town centre Yorkshire, providing rosette standard dining in their 50 cover restaurant & Brasserie, alongside banqueting within the grounds and hotel of this stunning historic property.
We are working to recruit a career-minded Sous Chef, currently working within a fresh food led kitchen, with experience in high quality banqueting. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in a similar standard of kitchen.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
1. Experience working in a multi rosette/Michelin environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or gastro pub.
2. An understanding of kitchen management, from H&S to HACCP & wastage control.
3. Experience using seasonal produce and utilising ingredients in a creative way.
4. The skills, knowledge & desire to enthuse chefs to push themselves for perfection every day.
5. Experience running the kitchen in the absence of the head chef.
