We are now entering an exciting new market, offering a ‘self-serve’ platform tailored to small-scale events (under 1,000 attendees). These events range from multi-day conferences requiring advanced solutions to simpler event formats such as meetings and workshops. Position Summary Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Sales Executive will support the growth and management of our client base. The ideal candidate will actively pursue new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and promote our innovative self-serve event registration platform. The candidate will occasionally support senior team members with larger client accounts within our established markets. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and the events industry to develop their sales and account management skills. Key Responsibilities Build and then maintain client relationships within our self-serve event market, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Proactively identify and qualify new business leads within the self-serve market. Achieve individual sales targets through effective business development and account management. Manage the full sales cycle for smaller-scale self-serve opportunities, including prospecting, qualifying, and converting leads. Support senior team members managing large-scale clients who incorporate self-serve solutions into their event offering. Undertake administrative tasks and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing client support. Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM, adhering to company guidelines and procedures. Conduct software demonstrations both in-person and remotely. Assist with preparing proposals, quotations, and support in negotiations and closing processes. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Attend training sessions, industry events, and regular team meetings. Provide exceptional customer service to all clients. Qualifications and Skills Interest in or some experience with B2B sales, ideally within events, SaaS, or related technology sectors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. A basic understanding of event technology is beneficial. Comfortable using CRM systems. Knowledge of Salesforce is a bonus.
