C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join our Global Forwarding division.
As a Senior Sales Executive, you'll be leading the charge in driving growth for our services by discovering and securing exciting new customers for the Branch/Area. RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Manage customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing deals
2. Use CRM to identify, call and track prospects in order to gain core and strategic customer opportunities
3. Visit customers and potential clients within assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week
4. Effectively execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly or annual expectations
5. Bring own contribution to the regional team, not only by consistently achieving your new net revenue targets, but also by sharing opinions and ideas, as well as best practices, in order to support the success of the entire sales team and the Branch they work with
6. Interpret how multiple factors affecting market conditions could impact a customer’s supply chain and can deliver a persuasive case for change
7. Maintain a strong commercial presence in the local marketplace, participating or presenting at regional events
8. Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
1. Minimum 4 years of outside sales experience with a freight forwarder
2. Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week
3. Fluency in English
4. Sales Mindset

1. Keen sense for business development with a clear “hunter” mentality
2. Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
7. Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality and business profitability
8. Develop and maintain strong inter-company relationships
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
