Are you passionate about hospitality and love delivering outstanding experiences? We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales & Events Manager to join our team at Butcombe Pubs & Inns!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all weddings and events, liaising with the General Manager to ensure our guests' needs are met.
2. Be a true ambassador for Butcombe Pubs, passionate about our brand and the local area.
3. Work closely with our guests and internal teams to deliver memorable events and experiences, meeting all requirements with precision.
4. Proactively drive new business, follow up on all leads, and support key projects throughout the seasonal calendar.
5. Conduct venue show-arounds, promoting our services and offerings.
6. Monitor and review all enquiries, ensuring smooth communication with the General Manager.
7. Full responsibility of our reservations desk and team.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in event sales or coordination is a must.
2. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
3. Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for motivating and managing teams to achieve targets.
4. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
5. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to executing flawless events.
6. Familiarity with social media management.
7. Marketing expertise.
8. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
Hours of Work:
1. Full-time role, 48 hours per week.
2. Sunday to Saturday availability, including some evening and bank holiday shifts.
